Why did I get this

You received a ListingRadius message because you are a licensed Georgia real estate agent and your registered office is near the listing in that email.

Where your address came from

The Georgia Real Estate Commission publishes a public file of every active licensee in the state. It carries your name, license number, status, role, registered firm, and the business contact information on file for you, including your business email address and your firm's business address. That file is where your address came from. It is the only place a ListingRadius recipient address ever comes from.

The file is a public record; the Commission charges a standard fee for it, and that fee is the only thing paid for any address. No marketing list was bought from a data broker. No MLS roster was scraped. No address was appended from a third party or guessed from a name and a domain. If your address in the GREC file is out of date, the fix is to update it with the Commission, and it will follow through to us on the next import.

Why this listing, and why you

A sending agent enters a listing and a radius. The listing address is geocoded, your registered office address is geocoded, and you are in the audience because your office falls inside that radius. Agents who have opened or clicked before are preferred over agents who have never engaged, and nobody receives more than three ListingRadius messages in any seven day window across every sender on the platform.

How to stop it, or narrow it

Look at the footer of the message you received. The first link is Unsubscribe. One click is enough: there is no confirmation step and no form. It suppresses your address for every sender on the platform, permanently, and no administrator here can undo it.

The second link is Update preferences. Use that one if the mail is useful but there is too much of it, or the wrong kind. You can limit it to the counties you actually work, set a price range, say which MLS you belong to, and choose between every listing, a weekly summary, or nothing at all. Your mail client may also show its own unsubscribe button next to the sender name; that button works too, and it reaches the same suppression list.
